Indian Pharma Industry by 2015
Few months back I came across the report titled Indian Pharmaceutical Industry-Vision 2015 made available in the OPPI website. This document was jointly released by YES Bank and OPPI. It made a wonderful reading and I thought about sharing some key points from that report. It may be quite interesting for most you to know the details as a synopsis.
The report in general talks about the growth story of Indian Pharmaceutical industry dividing them into four components like Contract Research, Bulk Drug Exports, Formulation Exports, Domestic Formulations. Without doubt domestic formulation occupies the biggest pie among the four and going by the estimates, it will continue to do so in the next few years.
