Hot Tips on how to use Linkedin to market your potential

48 Hour blackout
Last weekend I was trying to tweak the plugins a little so that I can make my site work faster. Despite instructions clearly given, without attempting to backup my site, I went ahead to upgrade to the latest version of wordpress. (The blogging software which runs Pharmacareers.in) That is a grave mistake and I paid the price for the mistake. My site went down for almost 48hours. I did press the panic button and my friend from Hyderabad, Bhupal Medishetty was there to help me come out of the mess. He did quickly use his technical prowess and took all the necessary back-ups and revived the site as it was seen last.
I am a dumbo when it comes to code. Being a non-techie, the best lesson I learnt in the last two days, is to never ignore detailed instructions given whenever you want to meddle with something with your website. Second most important lesson, always have some really smart techies as friends. I was able to get help and suggestions from my friend and a fellow blogger who eased the tension when this happened. My sincere thanks to Bhupal and Ajith Edassery.
Site is up and running now and it is nice to be back.
